The Pastoral Care Program provides a listening ear, emotional support and care in a non intrusive, non judgemental manner. It is available to staff, volunteers, residents, clients and their families, and Board members of UnitingCare Goulburn North East. Several Carer Support Groups and social groups are run as integral parts of the Pastoral Care Program.
The Pastoral care program offers training in basic pastoral care for volunteers, who would like to join our visiting program.
The Scrabble group meets monthly at Neil Stewart House and is for those who are isolated and enjoy the company of others as well as a good game of scrabble.
The Carers Support Group is a gathering of carers to share experiences and learn from each other. It is an opportunity to get to know other carers, discuss services, learn about new services, enjoy a meal and feel part of the caring community.
